San José Is Not For Sale: A Community Project is a community-led documentary series currently in the production process. Our aim is to visually archive the people, places and spaces, as well as, highlight the BIPOC small business owners, creatives, community and culture in our city. Entrepreneurship, art and community is the soul of San José and that can’t be bought. This community project will embody resilience, culture, and passion for a city that is rapidly changing.

Please contribute to the making of this documentary.

We believe San José Is Not For Sale can serve as a tool that will assist San José residents, both old and new, in understanding the historical context of the city as well as inspire deeper dialogue and a commitment to growth and community engagement. One of our aims is to visually archive the people, places and spaces of our city.

As we continue the production of this documentary, we would love for y'all to help us paint that picture. Share your perspective!

The stories of our community members who bet on themselves and are now making a living off of their passions were moving and inspired Mike to film a documentary that truly represents the city.
